Meeting details:
Monday, January 26th, 2026
6:00 PM (Doors open at 5:30PM)
Venetian Center
This will be a brief meeting, running from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and will be held in the front room of the Venetian Center. During the meeting, we will cover new business and swear in new members.
Immediately following gavel out, we encourage all Lake GOP members to remain at the Venetian Center to show support for the Republican Liberty Caucus of Lake & Sumter Counties by attending their Governor’s Candidate Forum, which will be held in the main room. The doors open at 6:30pm and the event starts at 7:00pm. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from candidates for Governor! While we did not want to cancel our January meeting, we also wanted to ensure our members had the opportunity to attend and hear from the candidates.
Please email us directly at secretary@lakecountyrepublicans.org to be excused from the meeting.
Don’t forget 3 unexcused absences in a row is dismissal from the Lake GOP.
